A person wishing to become a candidate for admission to the Lay Carmelites must be a practicing Catholic in good standing and be at least 18 years of age.  After a period of visiting with a local Lay Carmelite Community, someone wishing to pursue a Carmelite Vocation will request an application form from the community director to be signed by their parish priest to begin formation.
